For Spiritual Blessings

ANOINTING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Sovereign LORD has filled me with his spirit. He has chosen me and sent me To bring good news to the poor, To heal the broken-hearted, To announce release to captives And freedom to those in prison.  Isaiah 61:1

“Afterwards I will pour out my spirit on everyone: your sons and daughters will proclaim my message; your old men will have dreams, and your young men will see visions.  At that time I will pour out my spirit even on servants, both men and women. Joel 2:28,29

BLESSING FOR PRIESTS & PEOPLE

I will fill the priests with the richest food and satisfy all the needs of my people. I, the LORD, have spoken.” Jeremiah 31:14

CONFESSION

You will never succeed in life if you try to hide your sins. Confess them and give them up; then god will show mercy to you. Proverbs 28:13

My child, have you sinned? Don’t do it again, and pray for forgiveness for what you have already done. Avoid sin as if it were a snake. If you get too near, it will sink its teeth into your soul like a lion, and destroy you. Sirach 21: 1-2

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and there is no truth in us. But if we confess our sins to God, he will keep his promise and do what is right: he will forgive us our sins and purify us from all our wrongdoing. If we say that we have not sinned, we make a liar out of God, and his word is not in us. John 1 1:8-10

CONVERSION OF NON-CHRISTIANS

“Then all the nations in the world will come back to God. They will worship him as the only true God and give up the idols that led them into false worship. The nations of the world will praise the everlasting God by doing what he demands. “At that time God will save all the people of Israel who have been faithful to him. He will bring them together to Jerusalem, and let them take possession of the land of Abraham, and there they will live securely for ever. All who love God with their heart and soul will rejoice, but all sinners and evil people will be wiped off the face of the earth. Tobit 14: 6,7

DECISION MAKING

The LORD says, “I will teach you the way you should go; I will instruct you and advise you. Psalms 32:8

Teach me, LORD, what you want me to do, and I will obey you faithfully; teach me to serve you with complete devotion. Psalms 86:11

You are my God; teach me to do your will. Be good to me, and guide me on a safe Path. Psalms 143:10

Trust in the LORD with all your heart. Never rely on what you think you know. Remember the LORD in everything you do, and he will show you the right way. Proverbs 3:5-6

DOUBTING GOD’S PROVIDENCE

If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from death, you will be saved. For it is by our faith that we are put right with God; it is by our confession that we are saved. The scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.”  Romans 10:9-11

Even lions go hungry for lack of food, but those who obey the LORD lack nothing good. Psalms 34:10

Be determined and confident, for you will be the leader of these people as they occupy this land which I promised their ancestors. Just be determined, be confident; and make sure that you obey the whole Law that my servant Moses gave you. Do not neglect any part of it and you will succeed wherever you go. Be sure that the book of the law is always read in your worship. Study it day and night, and make sure that you obey everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Joshua 1:6-8

FAITH

If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” Mathew 21:22

To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see. Hebrews 11:1

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not have life, but will remain under God’s punishment. John 3:36

For it is by God’s grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God’s gift, so that no one can boast about it. Ephesians 2:8-9

Run your best in the race of faith, and win eternal life for yourself; for it was to this life that God called you when you firmly professed your faith before many witnesses. Timothy 1 6:12

FOR MERCY OF GOD

I am worn out, O LORD; have pity on me! Give me strength; I am completely Exhausted and my whole being is deeply troubled. How long, O LORD, will you wait to help Me? Come and save me, LORD; in your mercy rescue me from death. Psalms 6:2-4

Even before the world was made, God had already chosen us to be his through our union with Christ, so that we would be holy and without fault before him. Ephesians 1:4

Instead, be holy in all that you do, just as God who called you is holy. Peter 1 1:15

God did not call us to live in immorality, but in holiness. Thessalonians 1 4:7
